Waiting in Hope by Kelley Ramsey & Jenn Hesse

Are you struggling with infertility? If so, Waiting in Hope by @kelramsey and @jennmhesse is a great resource to have in your library.

This book offers support and hope from a faith based perspective. It's an honest book that digs deep into some of the raw emotions and questions that can bombard your heart and mind when struggling with growing your family.

I was moved by the honesty of the authors in this book. I also liked the reflections and prayers at the end of the chapters. Those reflections and prayers really helped ease my heart when something hit home as I was reading.

With infertility being such a sensitive topic, I want to also be completely transparent with some small triggers one might have reading this book. However, don't take this as a criticism because it really is a good one. BUT I know some things can be triggering depending on where one is on her journey.

If you haven't had children yet, please know the two authors have had kiddos. They are sharing their journey to help those of you who are in the waiting have hope and to cling to Jesus. I love that. But to some of you women who haven't had kiddos yet, please know this isn't a book to help you overcome infertility necessary, it's having hope in the waiting just like the title says. Not sure if that makes sense. Just know this book is from a place of victory and they have some great insights that can help you walk in hope.

The next trigger warning is that they do discuss IVF and other fertility methods. I've learned over the years of my personal journey and coaching women who have experienced pregnancy loss and infertility that this can be a trigger for some women for different reasons.

Again, this is a wonderful resource but since it is a sensitive topic, I wanted to share two possible trigger points for somebody battling infertility.

This book was peace to my soul and I'm so thankful for the authors who felt led to write this! It will help many!!! Link to purchase is here.

This week is #InfertilityAwarenessWeek and I would love to hear your book recommendations in the comments.
